Indira Khera

Indira Khera is a writer and journalist currently pursuing her MFA in Creative Nonfiction at The University of Wyoming. She worked previously as both a Metro Reporter for WBEZ in Chicago and as a freelance journalist supported by a Stanford Health Equity Media Fellowship. Khera’s work has been published by Wyoming Public Media, WBEZ, NPR, Short Wave, Science Friday, and KFF Health News. Her creative writing is focused on science, identity and family. She graduated from The University of Chicago in 2022 with a degree in Biological Sciences.
