The South Asian American Justice Collaborative (SAAJCO) is a new national legal nonprofit fighting for the civil and human rights of the South Asian diaspora in the U.S. We are building our work in close collaboration with our communities and allies to shape direct services and legal strategies aimed at systemic change.
Position Summary
SAAJCO is seeking a Legal Director or Senior Staff Attorney to join our founding legal team. This cross-functional role blends litigation with community engagement. The attorney will help build internal legal processes, shape and implement legal strategy, lead or support litigation, and build partnerships with co-counsel and grassroots allies.
This position is ideal for an experienced and energetic litigator who wants to grow a national legal organization that our community needs and deserves, thrives in collaborative environments, values community-centered work, and is eager to contribute across programs

Location: Remote (within the U.S.)
Reports to: Executive Director
Salary: $110,000 to $150,000, plus benefits, commensurate with experience
Start Date: Immediately
